Mar Resistent Plastic
Mar-ConŽ Acrylic - Forming Grade is a mar resistant plastic sheet product designed for a variety of high performance end uses in which the sheet will be heat formed or bent into soft radius shapes. It is a premium quality acrylic sheet, surfaced with an advanced technology, clear, durable, cured coating. This coating has excellent resistance to a wide variety of chemicals and solvents and is harder than the acrylic plastic substrate. This combination of properties provides enhanced resistance to hazing, marring, abrasion, and scratching of the sheet surfaces from cleaning, handling, and defacement efforts. Mar-Con Acrylic - Forming Grade also exhibits excellent optical properties and fabrication characteristics. This product can be used in many more applications than would be practical for an uncoated acrylic sheet.

This coating has excellent resistance to a wide variety of chemicals and solvents and is considerably harder than the polycarbonate plastic substrate. This combination of properties provides enhanced resistance to hazing, marring, abrasion, and scratching of the sheet surfaces from cleaning, handling, or defacement efforts. Mar-Con Polycarbonate - Forming Grade also exhibits excellent impact resistance and flame spread properties. The plastic substrate is a high optic grade polycarbonate sheet so Mar-Con Polycarbonate also exhibits excellent optical properties. Consequently, this product can be used in many more applications than would be practical for an uncoated polycarbonate sheet.
