SciCron Technologies has developed an improved version of its AF-100ô Anti-Fog technology with next generation performance characteristics and greater application versatility.
Plastics coated with the AF-100 Anti-Fog coating exhibit permanent anti-fog properties, eliminating the need for temporary sprays, wipes or solutions. While conventional anti-fog coatings typically wear out or wash out after a short life cycle, AF-100 continues to provide anti-fog protection years after being placed in service.
In addition, AF-100 significantly enhances the mar resistance of the coated plastic surface, particularly surfaces of soft plastics like polycarbonate and PETG.
AF-100 coated plastics are recommended for shower mirrors, face shields, visors for helmets, lenses for goggles, lenses for instrumentation used in wet environments, race car windshields, and a variety of other applications where fog-free visibility is required. These high quality clear coatings are applied utilizing a variety of techniques in a Class 100 clean room setting. A combination of precise application control, coatings formulated and made by SciCron Technologies, and state-of-the art processing equipment results in coated surfaces that are uniform, consistent, and highly functional.
